We’ve been a Cycle of Good recycling point for inner tubes for a while now but we’re please to say we are now selling Cycle of Good products, just in time for Christmas!
WHAT IS CYCLE OF GOOD?
Cycle of Good produce ethical, quality goods handcrafted in Malawi using recycled materials such as old inner tubes, donated in shops like ours and saved from going into landfill. They then train tailors in the world’s poorest places so they can earn a decent living and support their families. Money made from selling these products pays for childcare and non-profit social enterprise in Malawi.
If that’s not a true cycle of good, we don’t know what is!
WHAT PRODUCTS DO CYCLE OF GOOD MAKE?
There is such a range starting at £5 for a copper wire key ring to £45 for a courier bag made from recycled inner tubes. All of the products are vegan friendly, recycled and fairly traded too.
We started out as a recycling point, collecting inner tubes for Cycle of Good from our customers and our workshops, but our James our buyer was keen to learn more about what our old inner tubes were being turned into. Being amazed by their quality and uniqueness, he was very keen to start stocking them. Plus, knowing we are supporting people in their trade, helping them break the poverty cycle is really close to everyone in the coop’s hearts.
